Zeno Group Healthcare Expands: New Senior Talent and Client Wins

New York, NY. (September 29, 2011) – Zeno Group is proud to announce the appointment of Gail Switsky as Senior Vice President in its growing healthcare practice as well as the addition of new clients; Virtual Health and K2M, Inc.

With twenty years of experience in brand engagement that runs the gamut from pharmaceuticals to health technology, Gail brings a deep understanding of consumer-directed healthcare to Zeno's already considerable depth in this space.

"Gail's experience helping consumers engage with brands on such critical issues as aging at home to pediatric care coupled with a background in consumer technology is extremely valuable as so much of today's healthcare is linked to technology," said Ame Wadler, Managing Director, Zeno Health. Gail will be based in Zeno's NY office.

Gail was previously a Managing Director in the healthcare practice at Burson-Marsteller, working on consumer health and awareness/education programs for such clients as Intel Digital Health, Avon Solar Advance and EVOLENCE, a collagen-based dermal filler from Johnson & Johnson. Prior to Burson-Marsteller, Gail managed consumer healthcare programs for a variety of companies including McNeil Pediatrics, Advanced Bionics and several Proctor & Gamble brands including Vicks, ThermaCare and DayQuil/NyQuil Sinus. She has also previously managed and executed award-winning programs for global brands such as Kodak, Microsoft, FedEx, Visa and Sharp Electronics.

Gail earned her BA in public communications from The American University in Washington, D.C. She resides in Scotch Plains, NJ with her husband and two children.

In the last month, Zeno has added several clients including medical device company, K2M, Inc. and Virtual Health, a subscription service that offers the benefits of assisted living for delivery into the homes of more than 40 million U.S. seniors. Additionally, Zeno has expanded its relationship with the Lupus Foundation of America to now include local market support for a variety of patient-directed projects.
